Not Lord of the Rings.great series, but I think it would be too much to cover, even over 2 months, with managing life and family. Brothers K or Les Mis would be my vote.
People in Caycee’s book club thought LesMis was too long. I’m up for whatever! I’ve really enjoyed the books selections this year and so grateful Cayce started the book club in Olney.
I'm so glad you guys are having a good book club up there! We definitely miss her down here, but always glad to have more people reading good books with us! I think Les Mis is probably too long (at least for this year) and it seems like the voting is leaning that way too!
I just double checked! My copy of Lord of the Rings is 1067 pages and Les Mis clocks in at 1400 (in the copy I linked at least). If that helps your decision at all! If anyone knows how long the audiobooks are that would be helpful information as well!
