Really enjoyed this conversation, ladies! Hannah, I really related when you said it's a book that you appreciate a lot in retrospect -- It was completely not my 'style' and I still don't know if I can say if I *enjoyed* reading it all the time, but the depth, honesty, and complexity of the story really stuck with me, and it hits me anew when I think back on it. Great job guesting, Annelise, loved your thoughts!
Absolutely! I tend to get in a bit of a rut when it comes to picking up books that I know will be right up my alley, and this one certainly challenged that, but the more I though and talked about it the more I can appreciate it and see that it was a story I needed to experience!
