Welcome to Reading Revisited, a place for friends to enjoy some good old-fashioned book chat while revisiting the truth, beauty, and goodness we’ve found in our favorite books.
Hello Readers,
I hope you all are well and are enjoying Walking on Water and these short stories this month. As we enter into the new reading year I have two little announcements in this random Tuesday post.
Bookmarks
First, we have bookmarks for the new reading list! I made these last year and received a lot of positive feedback so I wanted to send them out again. You can print them out for yourself or print some extra to hand out to people you want to invite to your group (you could write your or your group leader’s phone number on the back even). I personally like to print them out as half size to hand out (and maybe have a big one for myself). I usually print mine out on card stock and then laminate it so that it stays alive for the whole year!

Buy Us a Coffee
The second announcement I am here to make is that we have opened a Buy (Us) a Coffee page. Everything we create is free for you to read/listen to, but it is not free for us to make. We are committed to keeping our booklist/book clubs free for the long term, but if you like what we are doing and would like to monetarily support us in any way we would greatly appreciate it. Buy Me a Coffee is simply a way to make a one time donation of $5-$25. If you would like to support us in a more consistent manner, let us know and we can open up our paid subscriptions on Substack. For the time being we are not offering any extra resources for donations, but that could change so let us know if there is something you would like to see.*
In the future all of our posts and show notes will have this handy little button…Thanks in advance!
*We do not plan on putting book club or the book list behind a paywall because we want everyone to be able to read in community no matter what your budget is!
Until next time, keep revisiting the good books that enrich your life and nourish your soul.
In Case You Missed It:
A Few Reminders:
If you are wanting to get in on the in person or virtual community please contact us!
Book lists from previous years can be found here.
*As always, some of the links are affiliate links. If you don’t have the books yet and are planning to buy them, I appreciate you using the links. The few cents earned with each purchase you make after clicking links (at no extra cost to you) goes toward the time and effort it takes to keep Reading Revisited running and I appreciate it!
It probably doesn’t matter, and I’m new to this community so please forgive my potential impertinence, but Northanger Abbey is by Jane Austen. I think it might have been cut off? I see the CS Lewis trilogy runs for two months, so perhaps you are planning to read another Austen next September? Not a big deal either way, I just love Austen and can’t wait to dig into the rest of this list!
