I have been thoroughly enjoying immersing myself in your Mansfield Park resources, so many thanks for supplying all those excellent links. I do know the storyline of Mansfield Park, without having read it, so there was no fear of spoilers but so much to help me focus my reading!

Could you clarify for me how your featured book months work though? I’m used to reading throughout the month or period of online readalongs with discussions at the end of each week’s reading. Do yours actually work as assuming we’ve read the book before the month comes?

So because we are a group of in person and Virtual Book Clubs we have a lot of groups meetings at different times a month. The earliest group I know of meets the 2nd Thursday of the month so we try to make sure the podcast is out the Monday before that. The Resource Roundup is intended to be available as soon as people might start reading so we can recommend books to buy and intro material, but then some of the resources include spoilers so are intended for when people are done reading. I hope they are easily findable so everyone can go back to them throughout their reading process.

Does that help at all?

Yes! Thank you Kelsie - I hadn’t grasped the fact that there are multiple groups within Reading Revisited….it all makes sense now 🙏

Yes! Our main “thing” is actually our in person book clubs! We love the Substack, podcast, and Virtual Book Club….but those in person groups are worth so much!

I sympathize with your summer reading difficulties. I, too, love the return to school starting and then (somehow even with much more to do!) I am able to get more reading in. Long live routines!

Long Live Routines! Lol I don’t know why I’m surprised by this every summer! I think it’s bc I think I can make a routine of relaxing…with 6 kids home. Which is silly! We need work for the mind and body!
