Hello Readers,
I was planning to write about The Invisible Man story from The Innocence of Father Brown this Saturday, but I decided to take a break in our normal programming and send out this survey instead. We like to take a quiet (as quiet as you can with 6 kids 8 and under) on Good Friday and Holy Saturday so I’d rather not be on my computer writing and I’d rather not fill your inboxes that day as well. Also our family has been hit with a pretty bad bout of sickness. I am trying to take the doctor’s orders to rest seriously and hopefully get better by Easter. It is one thing to be sick and feel like Holy Week (and Lent) are penitential, but it just feels offensive if it spills into Easter. So I will post about The Invisible Man AND The Wrong Shape on the Saturday after Easter (April 6th).
Instead of our normal programming I wrote up a survey to get some feedback on our year of reading together. I would appreciate any feedback you are willing to give! As always please feel free to message me if you’d like to chat more.
As always, thanks for being part of our community and reading good books together! I appreciate all your feedback as I am in the throes of planning for another year. I hope you all have a prayerful Holy Week and a celebratory Eastertide.
Enjoy your reading until we meet again!
