Happy Saturday! Here are some links to all things Daphne du Maurier. I hope you are enjoying Rebecca in this chilly Fall weather! I finally started reading this week but haven’t turned many pages so my thoughts on the actual book are not numerous. I would like to say that the first two chapters are so compelling and the house really is a character in the book from the beginning. Also I’m getting a lot of Sleeping Beauty imagery (not sure if that is purposeful or not). If you haven’t started yet and aren’t sure if you will have time to read during this busy season, I encourage you to give it a go. It reads very quickly and once you get a few chapters in you may not be able to put it down! I am looking forward to reading it quickly over the next week or so. But for now enjoy these links!

Some other Musings
I found this helpful little note in The Biggest Story Bible Storybook (which so far I actually recommend, surprisingly if you know me and my controversial thoughts on children’s bibles) that answers the question some of us had while discussing My Name is Asher Lev last month on what to call the whole Hebrew Bible (As opposed to just the first five books).
I loved this article from one of my favorite bookish publications on Substack on reading slumps…give it a read or save it for next time you simply can’t get the pages turning!
That’s all for this week. I hope you all have a lovely weekend with lots of hot drinks, warm blankets, and page turner novels…Enjoy!
